Put your jewellery on last! This includes after hairspray, perfume, makeup + suncream. Be mindful that any contact with chemicals can damage your jewellery.

Store your jewellery away in an airtight, cool, dark and dry place where it won't tangle or scratch against other pieces.

Avoid wearing jewellery to bed, in the shower, in swimming pools or whilst exercising.

My non-toxic blackening agent used on stamped pieces can wear away with time, for an at-solution, refill with Sharpie and buff away any excess.

Gently does it! Don't force your jewellery or over-stretch it; avoid snagging chains.

For light tarnishing you can buff with a clean microfibre cloth or use mild dish soap, warm water and a toothbrush. You may also use a silver polishing cloth, available on my website.

Although gold vermeil is a long-lasting option, it can wear away over time with daily use. I do offer the option to re-plate pieces, but there are also some things you can do to prolong the thick gold layer.

Similarly to sterling silver, you want to avoid contact with chemicals and remove your jewellery in certain situations. But to take extra care, you'll need to clean very gently with no abrasive materials, and store separately to other jewellery so it doesn't scratch against other pieces.
