This simple modern necklace is part of my Chain Collection, a set of minimalist piece created with hand-formed silver chains. As well as being a beautiful piece of modern jewellery, the necklace holds a deeper reminder of hope and freedom, inspired by the powerful line “my chains are gone / I’ve been set free” from the song ‘Amazing Grace’.
This meaning is perfectly illustrated in the accompanying card design, showing hands lifted in praise with chains disappearing into celestial fragments and stars (designed in collaboration with Sarah Nolloth Illustration). Be one of the first to order a piece from the Chain Collection and you’ll also receive the free limited edition A5 print as a thank-you!
I make each chain by hand, forming recycled sterling silver wire into the three oval links with pliers and linking them together, so every piece will be a little unique and individual. The links are then attached to a fine chain to complete the necklace for a delicate look.

HANDMADE FOR YOU
JORDAN LILY HQ 🔨
After falling in love with traditional silversmithing techniques, I set up my little home workshop in Cornwall and launched JLD in the Autumn of 2018.
I love being able to create handmade pieces that are packed with meaning for those special treat-yourself-moments and sentimental gifts that last a lifetime!
